All About Me
Greetings from Prof. Dr. Asif Ahmad! Allow me to extend a warm welcome as I introduce myself to my esteemed students and audience. Holding a PhD in Food Technology and backed by enriching postdoctoral experience in the United States, my academic journey has been steeped in the realms of Nutrition, Food Science, and Agriculture. With an extensive background in teaching and research, I have dedicated my expertise to PMAS-Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi, Pakistan, serving in various capacities. A proud member of numerous scholastic societies and Journal Editorial Boards, I've contributed significantly to the field with the authorship of two monograph books, 24 international book chapters, and over 110 journal articles.
Beyond borders, I have lent my skills as an adjunct researcher to Ton Duc Thang University, Vietnam. In the public sphere, my commitment to scientific excellence is evident through my role on the Scientific Panel of the Punjab Food Authority. Currently, I am honored to serve as a Professor in Food Technology and the Director of the Institute of Food and Nutritional Sciences at PMAS-Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi. With a passion for advancing knowledge in these critical domains, I look forward to sharing insights and fostering a dynamic learning environment for all.
